You can enable display of a performance HUD in the Oculus configuration utility in your system tray, if you want to see that framerate and make sure it is submitting frames at 75 FPS without dropping any. With synchronous or asynchronous timewarp, the framerate isn't the same as the number of timewarped frames per second, which should be 75 if it is working correctly. BTW, I think Dissidia 12 uses cheats to run at 60 FPS. Turning on both asynchronous time warp and synchronous time warp is, in theory, exactly the same as turning on just asynchronous timewarp.

It seems like the issue discussed in the previous 2 posts before mine here, but they are nvidia users and they say enabling sync+async timewarp together makes it run at full speed. I thought it's supposed to increase FPS not reduce it.Īny ideas, 2EyeGuy? Or is there nothing to do but wait for an SDK implementation of it? Seems to me like that timewarp behavior especially is very strange. My R9 290 clocks down to ~1/3 max clock speed because it has nothing to do.
